SC FREDA
The project was implemented in 2011.
Services provided: set up of a network monitor system integrated with the production packing line and additional services.
About this project: a modern system of network monitors was successfully implemented and integrated into an industrial production process for the first time in Lithuania in 2011. Our professionals analysed the specific requests and resources of our clients, a furniture manufacturing company SC Freda. As a result, 30 network monitors system were set up to make the production process easier and assist the company to work towards maximum productivity. After establishing the modernisation of the production packaging line, one server administers a system of 30 network monitors used as information panels. In response to the specific needs of the client, the new system allows different information to be shown on all monitors, which are controlled from the packing line operating computer.
The new SC Freda network monitor system is much more practical compared to traditional computers. It costs less to implement and there is a decrease in electromagnetic emission. Furthermore, the temperature in the workplace is reduced as is the creation of dust. Another advantage is that, electricity consumption is reduced and additional space is created in the production area. If technical problems arise, then it is much easier to fix them in the network monitor system, than using traditional computers as replacing a monitor only takes a few minutes and does not require data retrieval. That ensures the production line does not get interrupted for longer period.
